​“A Mason County native, I’m passionate about the vision, mission and values of the Lakeshore Food Club which supports my hometown community. My educational background includes health education, and I’ve since maintained a personal curiosity in the intersection between wholesome food and wellness with an added interest in food systems and access. I find motivation in Steven Pinker’s quote, “We will never have a perfect world, but it’s not romantic or naïve to work toward a better one,” and I am happy spending my days not merely improving food access but improving nutritious food access to Mason County residents. Outside the food club, you can catch me running, a passion I share with my husband, lounging in a hammock, or hiking the Ludington State Park trails.”
