Volunteer Spotlight
Corrine Hernandez
Corrine Hernandez

“My name is Corrine Hernandez and the impact that I’ve seen, its an eye opener to see how much people in our community are in need. Working at Walmart and seeing the people through the community there when I’m helping, they are like, “Hey you are from Walmart!” It just makes you feel so good that you are there helping, they like to see that interaction. They do come in and say “hey I just saw you!” When I come back into work. They do realize that this is on our lunch hour; this is all volunteer stuff. A lot of people are like “Oh my goodness, that’s awesome!” They don’t realize it and once you explain it to them, they are just like “wow that’s so awesome!” It just makes you feel so good, it makes you feel like a big value to the community.”
